Utilizing personal strengths
Dr. Craig was a baller in college. While he is generally a little taller than most folks, he claims he can’t jump. We know he’s being modest. While it’s not proven that he has ruptured a backboard with the brute force of a slam dunk, we can imagine how epic that would be. After graduating, Dr. Craig traveled the world for work where he went to areas of the world in cultural conflict. He would gather children from both sides of the divide and teach them the game of basketball. The most remarkable thing happened – the kids couldn’t see any difference between themselves and the other members of their team. Hatred was eliminated and the universal language of play was spoken. Much of the inspiration for Kids United was from this service and became a driving force for the worldwide work Dr. Craig and co. committed to accomplishing.
